We needed to improvise. Thus, we started to build. Jank Table.
Now I just wish I bought more of the cheap wood.

I had problems with mine, I cut it too long, then was end of day & I didn't feel like messing with it. Still have a long way to go.

I have the exact opposite issue. I’m about half an inch too short. Everywhere...

My problem was measuring the tailgate, then trying to add for with of wood & both sides of gap between gate & wood. Bad math skills, although better to be on the long side than short. Time to have a Bon fire & roast marshmallows with your too short wood.
